Step Into Science & Nature

The infant and toddler are in their Sensitive Period for Movement and Tiny Objects, and Assimilation of images; which naturally points to Magnifying Glass being exactly what a "sensorial explorer" will want to keep busy with. We introduce the Magnifying glass as a tool, to be cared for and used correctly. Toddlers tend to scratch up the magnifying glass, so just realize they need replacing often, but we show the toddlers how to use it carefully, and they will learn. There is also, sink & float, pulley work, scrubbing, and pouring water and sand, all these activities build acuity in the physical world, and comfort and respect for nature.
